CALL TO ORDER
The Special Board meeting of the Columbia Irrigation District was called to order by President Shawver at 1:00 pm to discuss the purchase of a crane truck. Present at the meeting were:

CRANE TRUCK PURCHASE
Mr. Flynn asked the Board for a decision on the timing of the crane truck purchase. The options are to purchase it using funds from the current year’s budget or wait until October in the 2019/2020 fiscal year. Director Martin motioned to purchase the crane truck out of the current year’s budget. Director Thackham seconded the motion. Motion carried.
The Board asked Mr. Flynn to bring budget comparisons for a 1%, 1.5% and 2% increase to the meeting of Friday, September 20, 2019.
Curt Strifert entered the meeting at 1:30 pm.
DIRECTOR DISCUSSION
The Board discussed an incident that occurred when a contractor working for BNSF damaged CID’s Jean Street Line while removing some trees. Mr. Flynn reviewed RCW’s regarding obtaining locates.
